«À Richelieu.» Made in deuxième
Launched in 2025, the firm entered this competition for the extensive renovation of an office building located in the heart of the 2nd arrondissement, between the Grands Boulevards and the Palais-Royal. Formerly the headquarters of the newspaper L'Aurore, this building offers a rare heritage foundation: listed cut-stone facades, a classified Cariatid Hall, and three interior courtyards.
To enhance the value of the property for AG2R LA MONDIALE, the firm designed a contemporary glass-enclosed base that echoes the motif of the historic arches, a monumental triple-height lobby, and a rooftop on the fifth floor.
The project stands out for its ambitious landscaping, featuring three themed courtyards (Richelieu, Seasons, and Jardin de Saint-Marc) designed as oases of coolness and outdoor living spaces. Committed to an eco-responsible approach, the firm created this project to meet the objectives of the 2050 Tertiary Decree and is aiming for BREEAM, WELL, ECRAINS, and BIODIVERCITY certifications while prioritizing a strategy of reusing existing materials.
Named “À Richelieu,” the project creates an exceptional destination where the history of the site meets the serenity of modern, green workspaces.
