34 Opéra

Paris, France

Covéa commissioned Axel Schoenert architects to completely restructure and bring into compliance the building located at 34 avenue de l'Opéra in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. The building is certified HQE Exceptional, BREEAM Excellent and BBC.

Located between Opéra and Palais Royal, Bourse and Place Vendôme, the O34 building offers a privileged setting to its occupants.
This composite building complex is the result of the association of 11/13 rue Gaillon and the bourgeois building of 34 avenue de l'Opéra, during the first third of the 20th century. The first was built in the eighteenth century, then remodeled in the nineteenth century. The second was built in 1877 at the time of the piercing of the avenue. Its architecture strictly observes the Haussmannian style as much for the height of the floors as for the modenature of the facades and the interior decoration.
Its architecture strictly observes the Haussmannian style as much for the height of the floors as for the modenature of the facades and the interior decoration. Several stores occupy the first floors.
The development work related to the merger of the buildings modifies the offices with ERP on the ground floor (Conference, Training, ...)
Axel Schoenert's mission was to give this remarkable complex a new coherence, guided by evidence and elegance, in phase with current regulatory and economic expectations.
