A few steps from the Champs-Élysées, this former residential building dating from 1857, which attracted personalities from the aristocracy, the world of letters, medicine and politics, is about to undergo an ambitious transformation.
The project proposes a work on the evolution of the existing heritage on the one hand by enhancing its assets and on the other hand by rethinking the building complex to make it contemporary, functional and regulatory.
To do this, the project includes the creation of a double-glazed skin in the interior courtyard to create continuity on each floor, a connection between the front and rear buildings and the creation of a terrace on the fifth floor. The creation of a glass roof on the first floor. The creation of green outdoor spaces on the roof of the fifth floor to enhance the work spaces.
In order to meet the various environmental objectives, the design has already focused on developing architectural and technical provisions according to the following objectives: controlling energy consumption, energy production in a decarbonization approach, low environmental impact construction site and reuse of materials.
