Bassano

Heavy restructuring of an office building in a dense environment, located at 35 rue de Bassano, a stone's throw from the Champs-Elysées, in Paris.

Commissioned by CNIM to create a privileged setting for the users of their new headquarters, the agency's work was to transform and extend this 1876 building, the headquarters of Chantiers Navals since 1958, into a place at the cutting edge of functionality and technology, combining respect for tradition and modernity. The architectural choices follow this guideline: creation of a 30% surface area - two additional floors and a curved roof over the street -, construction of curtain walls to bring transparency to the heart of the block, creation of green terraces, new air treatment systems, LED lighting. While the aesthetic approach favors beautiful materials and the warmth of wood, worked ironwork, a monumental chandelier, to infuse elegance and refinement to this project.
